Abstract

At strains of up to 20%, strain twinning is the major mode of deformation, but at greater strains slip becomes dominant until eventually shear banding occurs at 94% strain. Even after 97% deformation the material is still ductile and the final texture forms independently of deformation twinning. The work-hardening rate is lower than would be expected.
