Abstract

General informations and technological review of reaction injection molding are followed by a detailed survey of equipment available supplied by various U. S. manufacturers. Particular attention in this review is given to new developments in this field like high-pressure impingement mixing, automatic self-cleaning mix heads, elimination of lead/lag by maintaining more precise ratio of polyol to isocyanate, etc.
