Abstract

Reviews the literature on the use of pairwise multiple comparisons in terms of between-S and repeated measures experimental designs and the optimality of experimental conditions. Tests are recommended for use in conditions in which the assumptions of normality, homogeneous population variances, and equal sample sizes are violated.
