Abstract

The broadband spectral and dynamical properties of pulsar wind nebulae provide important insight into the properties of the central neutron star, its pulsar wind, and the progenitor supernova. As demonstrated by recent work, the gamma-ray spectrum of a pulsar wind nebula provides crucial information concerning the magnetization of the pulsar wind and the spectrum of particles accelerated at the termination shock of the pulsar wind. I will present recent results from fitting the properties of TeV PWN G54.1+0.3, as well as discuss the possibility of distinguishing between a broken power-law and Maxwellian + Power-law injection spectrum using the observed gamma-ray properties of a pulsar wind nebula.
