Abstract
The implementation of a new approach in the suppression of the parallel plate mode in striplines is discussed. This idea was illustrated using a microstrip-to-stripline-to microstrip coupler. Lastly, a sixteen element microstrip array fed by the new type of feeding network was built and tested.
