    Abstract

We note an error on p. 258 of our paper “Does Regression Produce Representative Estimates of Causal Effects?” American Journal of Political Science 60(1), 250–267. We had written, “We first regress the FDI variable on the various control variables (including the country and decade fixed effects) and then extract the residuals.” The sentence should read, “We first regress the regime type variable on the various control variables (including the country and decade fixed effects) and then extract the residuals.” We thank Minhee Chae for bringing this error to our attention. We also note an error in the title for Table 1 on p. 260. It should simply read “…of Gerber and Huber (2010).” We apologize for any confusion caused by the errors.
