Abstract

A discussion on Gas Technology Institute's (GTI) natural gas-fired, radiant U-tube system covers GTI's Forced Recirculation (FIR) Burner concept; the findings associated with test-firing the GTI 75-kw FIR Burner with the Schunk-Inex Si-Sic U-tube of < 25 K; low exhaust emissions of FIR Burner; and the commercialization path.
