    Abstract

    We have constructed and operated a high pressure streamer chamber which exhibits substantially improved spatial resolution over a conventional one atmosphere chamber. Operating with 24 atm of neon-helium at a peak electric field of 330 kV/cm we have achieved a spatial resolution of 40 μm.
