Building reconstruction using LiDAR data and airborne images

Abstract

An algorithm for building reconstruction fusing LiDAR data and aerial images is proposed. The buildings' edge and the roof surfaces are detected automatically, the neighboring relations of roof surfaces are built up and the models of simple buildings are reconstructed. At the last, the precise calibration of models is processed using airborne images.
